日本からサンダンス マリン メルボルン大阪カップ2018に参加する森村 圭一朗（圭さん）と表 正和（正さん）は大阪からメルボルンへのスタートラインに立つための回航を完了しました。たくさんのOHYCメンバーと友人たちのグループに見送られ、バルトロメは2017年12月2日に5,500マイルの航海の旅に出ました。

彼らがルーティーンを定着させた最初の２レグまでの間は、もう一人のクルーが同乗していました。堀内 寛は彼らとミクロネシア連邦のポンペイ島まで一緒に過ごしました。そこから残りの旅はダブルハンドで行われ、ブリスベンで数日を過ごし、さらにシドニーで天候がおさまるのを待つために滞在しました。

以下はメルボルンに到着した彼らに、これまでの冒険と目前のレースに向けての心境を聞いたインタビューです。

Japan has one competitor in the Sundance Marine Melbourne Osaka Cup 2018 and co skippers Keiichirou Morimura and Masakazu Omote have just completed their run down to the start line from Osaka to Melbourne. Farewelled by a large group of OHYC members and friends, Bartolome set out on her 5,500 NM journey on the 2nd of December 2017.

For the first two legs of the trip while they settled into a routine, there was an extra hand on board, Hiroshi Horiuchi and he sailed with them until Ponhpei. The remainder of the journey was run Double Handed with a stop in Brisbane for few days and a further stop in Sydney to wait for weather.

Following their arrival in Melbourne, we caught up with skipper Kei San for a chat about their adventure so far and his thoughts about the forthcoming race.
